Our Market Mixer Fundraiser is legendary! It’s a night for US to showcase what we do best and a night for YOU to enjoy the sights, sounds, aromas and tastes of the Market. The Mixer brings the opportunity for business networking to kick off! So consider bringing the staff, the crew, folks that make your business tick. Capitol Market continues to be all it can be for our local business owners, local farmers, visitors and our local community. We hope that you will be able to take part in our annual Market Mixer Fundraising event on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 6pm to 8pm.
The Mixer happens each year because of generous community support from our Market fans and our business partners; together we make Capitol Market continue to thrive bringing economic growth to the area. We also provide a destination for visiting family and colleagues, a social hub, a lunch hot spot; as well as bringing small West Virginia businesses the opportunity to succeed in an eclectic, renovated and transformed train station of the 1800’s.
The evening is abound with tantalizing appetizers prepared by Chef Paul Smith of Buzz Food Service and the culinary students of Garnett Career Center with Chef Tom Grant overseeing their efforts to create recipes from many market ingredients. Wines and beers for all! Live music and best of all, the opportunity to network with the business community or simply hangout with new and old friends.
Guests year after year tell us how much they enjoy this fall event! The party takes place throughout the indoor and outdoor Market as appetizers are served; conversations are ignited as the fall social gathering is underway.
